Rinkside Block Party is Rockford’s free, community celebration ahead of the AHL All-Star Classic. Brought to you by the BMO Center and the Rockford IceHogs, in partnership with the City of Rockford, GoRockford, and Stroll on State, the event takes place on Elm Street and features s’mores and firepits, music, mascot appearances, and winter-inspired drinks and food trucks. Free and open to the public

Honored by the AHL Hall of Fame Selection Committee as the latest group of enshrinees are Chris Bourque, Alexandre Giroux, Jim Wiemer and Wendell Young. The AHL will also recognize the All-Star Classic Honorary Captains and Blackhawks Stanley Cup champions Patrick Sharp and Kris Versteeg at the event.
